Arne Niemann
Meet the Captain
Living life - here and now
Skipper on the trip is often the owner himself, Arne Niemann. He can tell stories and anecdotes about life in Greenland then and now, so that sailing and town and settlement visits gain even more colour.
Adventure is the key word, and this applies to both Arne himself and his guests. No one should leave Greenland without memorable experiences. He himself travels around the world and gets inspiration from his adventurous trips, which include climbing Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mount Appo in the Philippines, Basecamp in Nepal, wilderness trips in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand and most recently a 1500 km long sailing trip to Thule and up on top of Dundas mountain.
Arne Niemann is a man of many talents. Now he gathers all his passion, his experiences and knowledge in a luxury product, which will give tourists, scientists, politicians, journalists and filmmakers an experience that leaves an impression on both body and soul.
Arne has successfully been behind a number of tourism projects in Uummannaq and Ilulissat and left his distinctive fingerprint on tourism development. The Christmas calendar filmed in Uummannaq and the World Championship in ice golf are among some of the more spectacular events.
He is known as a blunt man who says what he thinks. And a word is a word.
